My weekend desert. It was a shame I did not take a picture when this thing was just out of the oven, it rose twice as high as the dish itself, really puffy. But the book said let it rest a bit, so I did. And now it is all flat back :(. Still can taste the soft texture though, and the fragrant aroma from the almonds. A good and light tasting desert, probably will go well with a glass of wine too.
Went to Super Store today, Glo McNeill(she lives in Bridgewater), the winner of food net works' show "Recipe to Riches" was there for her lush Lemon pudding tasting event. I could not believe she was 82!!!! Even better she remembers me!!! She looked radiant and glowing with joy, maybe this is what people suppose to look when they are happy about their life and have faith in what they do. She told me she is flying to Toronto for the second round and 250,000$, and I promised I will vote for her if there is a vote(and you too!please). The pudding was flavorful, with the strong taste of fresh lemon, I absolutely loved it.
