Passion Fruit & Banana Souffle

Gordon Ramsay's family fare cook book challenge day 60 - sh*t I am done!

*Passion Fruit & Banana Souffle

My last dish of the book, A challenging, so as I heard, souffle desert. It all burned town to a lot elbow grease. The egg white were  beat into a cream that is 6 time of its original size. My bicep was burning with pain. My husband came over all manly and confident,
"Let me help you",
"no, you can not do it",
"I can",
"...fine".
He lasted 30 seconds and spilled some of the cream.
"I am done"
"Yah".

Folded the egg white into the batter carefully...and into the oven they went. After all the work, then it was in the oven's hand.

They turned out fluffy and creamy, tasted quite like a roasted marshmallow, just more flavorful. It was hard to take photos though, they depleted right after came out the oven, they rise pretty high when they were in the oven. Toppled like a big mushroom hat. Never had souffle before, but according to googled description, this should be pretty close. I liked it, and that was the most important thing for cooking for my family.

It is scary and exiting to finish a project. At one hand it is such a exhilaration when reach the final goal line after all those efforts, the excitement and anticipation of what kind satisfaction and accomplishment it can bring. All the burns and cuts, I made myself a pretty satisfactory cooking photo catalog and a blog. On the other hand, it is a bit scary. So this is it? What happens next after this? Was it worthy all the time and efforts to complete this?

So the things I have not done from the book? A few desert, which I might make them slowly later on when ingredients are available, ingredients like rhubarb. I did not do all the dishes from the sections labeled 5 ways with potato/cabbage/greens/onions. I picked one or two dishes from them because I just can not put myself into eating potato/cabbage/greens/onions for 3 days straight. Other then these, ALL DONE!

I have to savoir this moment a little bit longer, and before that I will enjoy my cloud soft souffle.
