Chicken Marsala With Red Chicory

Gordon Ramsay's family fare cook book challenge day 36:

*Chicken Marsala With Red Chicory

Similar recipe online (recommend the book though): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OGWnnVnVHrU

A delicious dish that took less then half hour to make, and the ingredients list is even shorter then that.   The simplicity of Gordon's dish makes you really think that sometimes less is more. Just the original taste of food with a simple blend of the right spices and wine.

There seems more about wine then I first thought, I used to think that they all tasted the same and do the same lol , sorry wine lovers. The wines used in this cooking book are all very different in taste. The sour apple brandy used in the baguette pudding, the Cointreau used in the apple pudding, and the Marsala used in this dish. Marsala tasted like cough syrup but when it hit the hot pan, it became a sweet with a fruity aroma. The dish tasted absolutely rich with a very flavorful sauce.

A great dish to make for any occasion.
