Beef Casserole and Buttered Savoy cabbage

Gordon Ramsay's family fare cook book challenge day 4:

*Beef Casserole and Buttered Savoy cabbage
Similar recipe online, but the book is so worth it: gordonramsaysrecipes.com/03/gordon-ramsays-beef-stew/

SHOPPING:Finally a down home cooking on day 4, every ingredients I can pronounce. Although this is the first time I bought a celery root, it looks like a alien with tentacles about to move anytime. Takes A lot wine too, takes 2and 1/2 cups of wine to cook the casserole.

COOKING: Take a loooong time to cook the casserole, around half hour to prepare and another 2 and half hour to cook. The smell when it is in the oven is something worth waiting for, the smell of bacon and beef stock with red wine, oh, inhale:).

TASTE: The meat literally melts in the mouth, the whole dish is rich and flavorful, I will definitely make this dish again. imagine the delicious smell and the rich flavor, what a wonderful warmer in winter seasons!
