Wild Garlic & Parsley Risotto

Gordon Ramsay's family fare cook book challenge day 48:

*Wild Garlic & Parsley Risotto

Recipe online: http://thegirloutdoors.co.uk/2011/03/08/wild-garlic-recipes/
Another easy making and very delicious dish. 20 minutes plus a lot elbow grease. It was a great work out for biceps which started with frying the garlic, shallot and rice constantly and then the real work out begins. For 20m or so I had to kept on stirring the rice to evaporate the stock I ladled in. My arm was tired and I had to switch arms. Finally the rice was soft soaked with flavorful stock.
I used my own brown chicken stock because I just made a batch and they do not last long. The book used vege stock or normal chicken stock, which will leave the rice whiter while my looks brown. But man, home made stock is sooo much tastier and richer then the stock from the shelf. This is the first time I made it and I used my magic zipper bag method and I will do it again for FREE! If you do not know what I am talking about, look at my "Tagliatelle Of Wild Mushroom" post please.

A easy to make hearty meal that everyone can enjoy.
