Sole En Papillotte , Companies: Sauteed Red Chard With Garlic & Minted New Potatoes
Gordon Ramsay's family fare cook book challenge day 52:
*Sole En Papillotte , Companies: Sauteed Red Chard With Garlic & Minted New Potatoes
The sole en papillotte is a very interesting dish. It can even be a entertaining factor for the guests in dinner parties. The dill stuffed fish rolls sitting on top of the vege slices, and then the whole thing was wrapped in a parchment paper envelope by folding the edges. A splash of white wine was added in the envelope before it was sealed and baked in the oven. To serve, lifting the whole package to a plate and bringing it to the table. A small cut is made on top of the envelope to open the parcels. Opening the steam envelope was fun and appetizing, which brought smiles to faces.
It even takes very short to make, chop chop and roll. All you need to do now is wait for the beeping from your oven. 30 minutes, a wholesome meal to feed your hungry family.
I used red fish from the farmers market instead of the sole. Would rather get something that is so fresh then imported right frozen fish. The fish was firm and very flavorful, perfect for this dish.
Not much to say on the companies, simple simple making dishes, you can make them the same time when the fish is in the oven. One thing I have to give it a shout out is the garlic I bought at the farmer's market today. I made a crinkle face and a "holy , **" when I licked the garlic. It was so strong and spicy like I never had garlic before. Wow, local grow foods are amazing.
Why don't you just put the recipe on this page?
