The egg plant puree was very strong flavored, it seems to be a perfect combination with lamb or midtarian meals which was intended in the book. I did not have any lamb left so I made a pork dish to go with it instead. The pork was tasty however, the tender lion I had was from my freezer, it end up dry tasting after cooked, well, as Gordon Ramsay said, the fresh produce is the key to successful cooking. We both loved the roasted potatoes though, it was crispy and the toasted herbs on the skin was quite tasty.
